About two months ago I was giving my son a bath and noticed a little bulge in the lower lower abdomen area. I wasn't too concerned but showed Jeff. There wasn't really a lump there as much as just a 'bulge'. We figured his yearly check-up was just around the corner so I would talk to the doctor about it then. Well, sure enough, Jackson had a hernia. He had never complained about it and it never hurt when we would push on it. Anyway, this last week he had to go into surgery to get it fixed. He was absolutely fantastic through the whole thing. The nurses couldn't believe it. The worse part was coming out of the anethesia but even then he didn't fuss. He slept the whole day after and when he finally came to you would have never thought he just had surgery. That night he was running and jumping off my bed. It was incredible! Kids are resilient (sp?). Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment! The first two pictures are before the surgery. He loved getting a ride in the wheel chair. And then the last three are obviously after.

The picture in the wheelchair is classic. :) We miss you guys and wish we were closer. Just to let you know, there won't be any pictures like that from my surgery...if I can help it. :) haha
Poor little punk... glad he's doing better and back to normal. The photos make me sad, though!
